What you need
- Exactly 2 adult players
- One shared desktop or laptop with a current JavaScript-enabled browser
- Printing is optional; if you print, use 8 single-sided sheets total
- Choose A4 or US Letter; do not print both sizes
- One pen or pencil per player if using printed folios
Start
- Download the purchased ZIP and fully extract the entire archive into a normal folder.
- Keep all included files and folders together.
- Open START-HERE.html in a current desktop browser.
- Choose either the digital role folios or print the four-page Surveyor folio and four-page Liaison folio in one paper size only, single-sided at Actual Size / 100%.
- Keep each player’s role material private until the game tells you to share or compare information.
How play is structured
The operation moves through cooperative infiltration, evidence reconstruction and the final Dawn Relay. Earlier exposure, missing evidence and route choices can change what remains possible later.
Save and resume
Use the included save/export controls before a break and keep any exported save file with your extracted game folder. Local browser storage can vary when HTML is opened directly from files, so an exported save is the safer backup before closing, moving the folder or changing browsers.
Troubleshooting
If the game appears blank or unresponsive, confirm that the whole ZIP was extracted first and open START-HERE.html in a normal desktop browser rather than an email or ZIP preview. Keep the package structure intact. The game does not require an account, paid API, phone app, soundtrack or live internet connection for play after download.
