At midnight, six impossible guests arrive at a dining room that should not exist.

You are the host. Seat them without offence, understand what each guest truly needs, decide who receives the only pinch of Moon-Salt, and hold the final service together before the night can close.

Six Seats at Midnight is a tactile fantasy table game for one or two adults, combining printable cards with an offline browser companion.

What you actually do

  • Cut and physically arrange six guest cards around a numbered table.
  • Match guest motives with dish properties to build six pairings.
  • Commit one scarce Moon-Salt token and accept the changed service condition.
  • Construct a six-course final service and resolve one of four aftermaths.

The decisions are the game: there is no real-time countdown, and optional wordless chamber music can remain off without losing any clue.

Set the table

For 1–2 adults. Use one laptop or desktop with JavaScript, a printer, four US Letter sheets, scissors and a pencil. Print the Player Folio single-sided at 100% / Actual Size. Rough cutting is sufficient and exact colour printing is not required.

Start, save and replay

Extract the complete package, follow START-HERE, then open PLAY-SIX-SEATS-AT-MIDNIGHT.html. Keep the files together so the optional soundtrack can load offline. Use save/resume and keep a portable text backup before changing browsers.

The story and puzzles are fixed. Replay can explore different decisions and aftermaths rather than generating a new supper.
